PLAYWRIGHT'S HORIZONS Alaine Alldaffer: Audition Intensive
Join the Head of Casting at Playwrights Horizons with a special Intensive on AUDITION TECHNIQUE.
Auditioning is an Art; it is an opportunity to act. Learn to love and delight in the experience.
This workshop will be about building confidence as an auditioner through knowledge of proven audition techniques. Through dialogue and discussion we will demystify the process and make you feel more confidant and entusiastic. We will then put those techniques and ideas into practice with material chosen especially for each actor.

About this Class
Actors work closely together with a spirit of inspiration rather than competition. All material and scripts will be carefully selected by ALAINE, for each individual actor, from plays at Playwrights Horizons, The Women's Project, and The Huntington Theater, with an emphasis on new plays.
PREPARATION:
For the class, Alaine will choose scenes for each actor and assign them to you based on your Actors Webpage.
