
Blake is the Associate Artistic Director the the Drama Desk Award winning Keen Company. Her directing credits include Children of a Lesser God for the Keen Company and Hazard County prior to its run at the Human Festival of new plays for The Themantics Group where she was the founding artistic director.
For Themantics, Blake directed the New York Premiere of Brad Fraser's Snake in Fridge, Pirandello's Naked and the critically acclaimed revival of Shopping and F***ing.
As a freelance director, Blake has directed and developed over two dozen new plays in addition to classic and published works, including Patrick Hamilton's thriller Angel Street and The Misanthrope.
Blake has been named one of the eight hottest directors of Off and Off-Off Broadway theatre by Show Business Weekly and has also been profiled by NYTheatre.com and the industry weekly Backstage. Blake teaches acting and monologue prep at AMDA. She is a member of The Lincoln Center Director's Lab and a graduate of Northwestern University.
