Casting Director Michael Nicolo
Michael Nicolo began his casting career upon graduation from Marymount Manhattan College in 1999 where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication. He is known for casting 20 television series/pilots and multiple feature films. He was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Casting of a Comedy Series and multiple Artios Awards.
Preparation is very important to Michael. Michael will be posting a variety of general sides. Please choose one side to prepare for class. If there are multiple scenes in your side, please only prepare one scene. If there are multiple scenes in your side, please prepare one scene. Sides will be posted 1-3 days before the class. This class will begin with a Q & A with Michael to learn all about what he is working on and the LA market. After that, actors will go in one at a time (in alphabetical order) to perform their work and receive feedback from Michael.

Michael Nicolo began his casting career upon graduation from Marymount Manhattan College in 1999 where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication. His casting experience began as an assistant in casting various television shows. He is the casting director on many successful half-hour and one-hour shows, along with both independent and studio features. Michael is known for casting over 20 television series/pilots and multiple feature films. He has been nominated for an Emmy Award as Casting Director for a hit television show on a major network, in addition to being nominated for the Artios Award.
