TV Audition Technique Class with Trey Lawson

Dates: Sat 2/16 @ 2pm
Meets 3 times: 2/16 2/23 3/2
In this 3-week class, Trey Lawson will teach actors techniques to improve their performance for Drama/Comedy auditions and callbacks.
With over a decade of experience in the industry casting MAJOR network pilots and shows, Trey is an amazing resource for any actor looking to improve their on-camera skills.
Format
Week One - Introductions & Drama
Actors will be given sides from drama pilots and asked to prepare two scenes and adjustments and feedback will be given followed by a group Q &A.
Week Two - Comedy & Timing
Actors will be given sides from comedy pilots and asked to prepare two scenes and adjustments and feedback will be given followed by a group Q &A.
Week Three - Callbacks
Actors will be asked to return with a different scene (although it may be one that another classmate prepared in a previous class). Everyone will be given a specific time and worked with individually. Unlike the group class format, this week is designed to put the actor in a mock audition environment. Knowing that there are other actors waiting outside will raise the stakes to get the takes needed in the allotted time.
