In The Comedy Audition Class, Jodi Collins will help actors master the skills needed to book a TV Comedy Audition - whether you excel at comedy or not. Jodi has experience casting many comedies for ALL the networks and has also worked in fashion and advertising as an executive in marketing and trends.  She has also worked as a professional performer in commercials, TV, and theatre. This unique background adds to her understanding of how to best identify an actor's authenticity and  brand. THIS IS ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS ACTORS DO OR DO NOT BOOK A ROLE.

For the final class Jodi will bring in a surprise industry guest to view your work and provide feedback.

For weeks 1-3, specific TV Comedy sides will be provided by Jodi for you to prepare in advance of class. The first class will use cold sides.

Jodi Collins, President of Jodi Collins Casting and Productions is an Independent Casting Director, Producer, Coach, and Consultant. She continues to be Comedy Central's #1 "go to" casting director. She has cast numerous pilots over a 12 year career, indie films, and worked for all the top broadcast and cable networks. Top credits include, Strangers with Candy, The Chris Rock Show, and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.

Jodi has most recently formed JLC Entertainment - JLC is a boutique-sized entertainment company housing production, casting and management. 
We represent a handful of talented actors, writers, and musicians.  Jodi Collins is well known as a casting director with a diverse list of credits (HBO, Comedy Central, etc.).  Elena Berger is a former agent (ICM and Blue Ridge Entertainment).  Together, they offer a unique perspective on the industry.
