She also worked on Winter’s Bone, directed by previous Sundance Film Festival award-winner Debra Granik and starring Jennifer Lawrence, which just won the 2010 Grand Jury Prize at Sundance.
 
Martinez began her casting career at Broadcasters under Lisa Fischoff and Stacey Seidel (New York, NY) which focused on commercial and voice-over work including Best Buy, Smirnoff Vodka, Sprint, Verizon Wireless, AT&T, Campbell’s Soup, NFL, and IBM among others.  She has also worked at the premier casting office in Kansas City, MO, Wright/Laird Casting, where she worked on a number of commercials, web ads, and Winter’s Bone.
 
Her theatre casting experience includes work at the Roundabout Theatre Company (New York, NY) under Jim Carnahan Casting where she worked on projects such as Bye Bye Birdie, A Steady Rain, American Idiot, The Understudy, A Behanding in Spokane, and the FOX network comedy Sons of Tuscon, among many others.
