Due to the COVID-19 situation, One on One NYC has opted to temporarily change the in-person format of our New Member Auditions.
Although we're cancelling in-person New Member Auditions, we still want you to take advantage of the opportunity to become a member. In light of these extraordinary circumstances, we're instead inviting you to submit a self-tape of your audition for consideration for membership.
**** Once you sign up here, we will send you a DropBox link to upload your materials. Please note the date listed below is simply the due date for your video submission (and not a live event). However we encourage you to upload your submission as early as possible! ****

What to Prepare
One Scene or Two Contemporary Monologues or a Reel Submission
Reel
Send us your demo reel. This can include work from film, television, short films, web series etc..
One Scene
Actors must prepare one contemporary scene from a published script (tv, film or theatre), no longer than two minutes, with no regional dialect other than your own.
Two Contemporary Monologues
Actors must prepare two contemporary monologues from published scripts, no longer than one and a half minutes per piece, with no regional dialect other than your own.
We are looking for contemporary theatre or film and television pieces. They do not need to be contrasting - just your best work.
Headshot and Resume
Actors must bring a headshot and resume to the assessment appointment, demonstrating their solid training and a professional approach to auditioning.
What is NOT Accepted
Commercial, Voiceover, Stunt, Musical Theater, Singing, and Foreign Language reels are NOT accepted. In order for us to evaluate your application, you must submit acting footage that fit the criteria above.
